ShrimpFest 2010
We will begin sending out applications for craft and food vendors in
December 09/January10. The application can also be found by clicking on the "Vendor
Application" button below. We would appreciate it if we
could receive the applications as soon as possible in 2010. The deadline for
submitting your application is April 15th. If you submit your application
after that date, we may still be able to fit you in but if 2008 and 2009 were any
indication, vendors need to submit their application early. We'll confirm your
booth space as soon as we receive your application. We reserve the right
to reject vendors who would be selling duplicate products or products we feel
would be unsuitable for the visitors to ShrimpFest.

For those of you who are visiting this web
site for the first time, the description of our event is as follows:
The Brinnon ShrimpFest is a weekend festival
celebrating Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other local seafood. We feature craft booths, food
booths, belt sander races, exhibits, live music, kids activities and so much more.
Bring along your favorite decorated belt sander to enter the races that will be
held at 12:00 pm each day. The tides
are usually low enough during this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters
on the public beaches near the festival, (license required) and the
weather is traditionally good during this holiday weekend.
This is great
family fun and it's FREE too! Come join us this year. ShrimpFest will again be in the grassy field on
the north side of the Dosewallips River
on the East side of Highway 101.
Proceeds from ShrimpFest 2010 will be donated to community projects.
The festival began in 1994. Over the years, the
proceeds have benefited our community through donations to the Brinnon School
and the Brinnon Volunteer Ambulance & Firefighters
Association, Brinnon and Quilcene Community Centers as well as many other
community projects.

sponsors can be found by clicking on this link.
There are many things to do while here on the Olympic
Peninsula. You may want to also schedule a visit to Quilcene or Port
Townsend. You can obtain additional information about events going on in
and around the Peninsula by going to the
